FIBERLAST® - Omni-directional Random Oriented Fiber (ROF) Pads





FIBERLAST® is an advanced random oriented fiber (ROF) bearing pad material that is widely used in the industrial/commercial cast-in-place concrete and precast concrete construction industry. With a uniform compressive stress capacity of 2,000 psi, FIBERLAST® offers higher loading limits than traditional ROF materials (σ average = 1,500 psi) and AASHTO grade neoprene (σ average = 800 psi). FIBERLAST® is typically used in single element bearing pad applications with modest longitudinal movement requirements. Occasionally, FIBERLAST® is used as the elastomeric component in an expansion bearing assembly. This type of application is generally driven by a large rotation requirement.
